At Kindred, our mission is to share the joy of yoga and it’s infinite health benefits with our community while providing a safe, judgement free environment that people can feel comfortable expressing themselves in. Our motto is “Yoga for Everybody.” Every body type, gender identity, sexual orientation and skin color. We want all of our costumers to know that and use yoga as a tool to heal and grow – emotionally, physically and mentally.

Founded by husband and wife, Jackie and Mike Gobbo in 2023. Leonia residents and active members of the community, Mike and Jackie hope to add to an already strong culture. Jackie is the Operations Manager and Part Owner of a small business and knows the importance of engaging communities to best serve their needs. Jackie studied yoga in Costa Rica and received her 200-hr YTT certificate from SYI in 2017. She taught in Astoria, Queens before moving to Leonia in 2020. Mike is a health and safety professional focused on the well-being of thousands each day at work as well as at home as a volunteer firefighter in the Leonia Fire Department since March 2021.
